Winsor utilizes the math program called Singapore Math. Singapore Math focuses on teaching math skills beginning in the pictorial stage before moving to the abstract. The students learn number sense by breaking down number into parts and whole. They learn to solve problems through the 8-Step Model Drawing process. There is a great model drawing website listed under the Fun Activities page on the right.
